MINISTRY OF EDUCATION, SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGICAL DEVELOPMENT AND THE FOOTBALL ASSOCIATION OF SERBIA WITH THE SUPPORT OF THE EMBASSY OF THE FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF GERMANY - PRIZE CONTEST FOR PRIMARY SCHOOLS - "SUPPORT THE EAGLES AT THE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP!"

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development and the Football Association of Serbia, along with the support of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, with the aim of supporting the National Team of Serbia at the UEFA European Championship in Germany and promoting sports values ​​among the primary schools, are organizing a prize contest – “Support the Eagles at the European Championship!”

Entitlement to participate

The students of public and private primary schools that implement the national program from fifth to eighth grade are entitled to participate as well as the foreign institutions on the territory of the Republic of Serbia that implement the program from fifth to eighth grade.

Conditions/Requirements for participation and contest categories

One of the following three categories, in which the students submit a work on the topic “Support the Eagles at the European Championship!” entitles them to be eligible to participate in the Competition:

Fine Arts (School topic) – making art works in A3 format in the technique of personal choice;

Graphic Arts – creation of online design works using an application or computer program in the format of personal choice, i.e. design works with the use of appropriate digital tools;

A Sustainable culture – creations/works from materials that can be recycled such as plastic, cans, all types of paper in the desired format on a paper or cardboard parts.

The mandatory elements in all three categories are as follows:

-Symbols of the National Football Team of Serbia and the Symbols of the Republic of Serbia

-Symbols of the UEFA European Championship, and

-Symbols of the Federal Republic of Germany.

It is allowed to use the likenesses of Serbian national team members, as well as the National Team Head Coach.

A participant can participate in the Competition with only one work/creation.

The created individual work must not be downloaded from the Internet and must not breach/violate the copyright, i.e. the intellectual property rights or any related right of another person.

Deadlines and procedure to submit creations/works

The contest participants will hand over until 3.6.2024 to the assigned teacher of the mentioned topics:

– The total/completed works (it is necessary to indicate on the backing of the work: the name and surname of the student, grade and sector, place and name of the school they attend and the contact phone number) and,

– The mandatory consent of the child’s parents or other legal representative, written on the backing the work, that the information submitted during the application process will be used for the purposes of implementation of the Contest.

The teacher of the mentioned topics is assigned by school.

The works that represent the Graphic Arts category can be submitted in digital format, on a suitable storage medium (USB, etc.), with the attached student and school information and mandatory consent in written form.

The teachers select up to 10 best works and they will submit them no later than 6.6.2024. to the competent School Administration, containing the reference:

After the selection, Each School Administration will choose up to 10 best creations/works and delivers them no later than 13.06.2024. containing the same reference, to the Football Association of Serbia, at the following address:

The Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development and the Football Association of Serbia, with the support of the Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany, will select the best 24 works/creations, whose authors will be awarded gifts from the Football Association of Serbia.

The Works/Creations are not returned to the applicant, and the works that are not sent on time, the works with the incomplete information and the works not submitted according to the described procedure, will not be taken into consideration.
