WORLD CHILDREN'S DAY - SAFE CHILDREN AND FUN FOOTBALL

Today is one of the most important days of the year. On this very day, when the FIFA World Cup officially begins, World Children’s Day is celebrated all over the planet!

In response to this, the Football Association of Serbia was this week the part of the UEFA Meeting on the topic of Child Protection, organized by the Royal Belgian Football Association. Colleagues from 49 national associations, as well as experts from UEFA, the Council of Europe and the European Commission, during a two-day seminar, The Grassroots Manager of the FA of Serbia Ruža Ilić presented the FA of Serbia programs, strategies and plans for the protection, safety and security of children on football pitches throughout Serbia.

Within the Grassroots Department of the Football Association of Serbia, thousands of children and young people are part of projects such as Volunteers, School football, Free football schools for girls in cooperation with the Institute for Women’s Sports as well as UEFA Disney Playmakers, and all educators and coaches are obliged are to undergo UEFA education on the topic of child protection before coming into contact with children.
