A day that will surely be fondly remembered by the representatives of the Serbian media. Many journalists, cameramen, photo reporters were guests of the Football Association of Serbia today at the Sports Center in Stara Pazova, and in addition to visiting the completely renovated “House of Football”, the distinguished representatives of written and electronic media attended and actively participated in the presentation or workshop of the Referees Committee of the FA of Serbia led by its President Dejan Filipovic.

So far, none of those present at the event remembers something similar from the “referee’s” repertoire, all with the aim of educating and easier understanding of the new recommendations in the Laws of the Game as well as the functioning of the VAR technology.

The President of the Referees Committee, Dejan Filipović, along with his colleagues, presented the most interesting controversial situations that occurred at the matches of the autumn part of the season in the Super and First League of Serbia. He explained the reasons and principles that the referees adhered to when making certain decisions, and at the same time resolved many doubts in the interpretation of terms and Laws of the game with an emphasis on the application and functioning of VAR technology.

Journalists with numerous questions also took an active part, all of them could take part in “decision-making” after some controversial situations, but most importantly, they were familiar with the determination the Referees Committee led by Dejan Filipovic implements the reforms with…It is stated that the players will be the only persons who will decide on the placement on the League table.

The Representatives of the media visited the VAR room, but also the entire Sports Center, the dressing rooms where the players of the National Team of Serbia led by Stojković won a place in the World Cup, the pitches where all Teams are preparing under the auspices of the Football Association of Serbia.
