WU19 | GREAT SUCCESS OF WOMEN'S SERBIAN FOOTBALL, THE WU19 NATIONAL TEAM QUALIFIED TO WU19 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP, VICTORY AGAINST BELGIUM IN DECISIVE MATCH

The best women’s youth national team of Serbia (WU19) achieved great success and qualified for the European Championship, which will be held from July 14 to 27 in Lithuania. In the decisive match, our team led by Head Coach Lidija Stojkanović, defeated Belgium – 2:0 (1:0) in a match in which they had no choice, because only victory will take them to be among the best youth national teams in Europe. The deciding goal was scored by Sara Stokić, in the early stages of the match, in the third minute when the AC Milan player brought great joy to our national team with a great shot. The first goal was a little masterpiece and the second one she scored close to the end of the match, is one of those scored by the greatest football stars. Sara Stokić, in the style of Dušan Tadić, lobbed the goalkeeper of Belgium from the center of the pitch and set the final score. A goal for a great triumph, a goal for placement among the best female youth teams in Europe.
