Russia won Serbia in Moscow – 3:1 (0:0) in the first match of the new round of the UEFA Nations League B. In the first minutes of the match Serbia controlled the game, had greater ball possession and spent good part of the time on the Russian part of the pitch.

Home team scored for the first time in the second half of the match, after a mistake of the Serbian team defense and a penalty kick successfully performed by Dyzuba. An effective shot by Karavaev led to 2:0, and after Lazović bolted down the right flank, Mitrović scored and announced some tense time ahead. However, another mistake in the back line of Eagles with Dzyuba using it and scoring for the final result of 3:1 for Russia.
