UEFA EURO 2024 QUALIFYING DRAW | EAGLES GET RIVALS ON THEIR PATH TO GERMANY

National Team of Serbia will play against Hungary, Montenegro, Bulgaria and Lithuania in the qualifiers for the 2024 UEFA European Football Championship in Germany, as decided by the draw in Frankfurt.

The draw was conducted by Giorgio Marchetti, assisted by the legends of German and Italian football, Karl-Heinz Riedle, Jürgen Klinsmann, Demetrio Albertini and Gianluca Zambrotta.

Serbia was in the pot 2 and the first rival to be known was from the top group of the European football – the team of Hungary. We played a friendly in Budapest in March this year and won with 1:0.

Following Hungary, the teams of Montenegro, Bulgaria and Lithuania were drawn into group G. The qualifying competition for the UEFA European Football Championship will be played in the period March – November 2023, and the group winners and the ten runners-up qualify directly for the final tournament.

The three remaining participants will be the teams that will qualify through the play-offs in March 2024.
