In the deciding match, the Serbian under-17 team won the match vs. Israel by 3:0 (3:0) and qualified for the European Championship, which will take place in Hungary from May 17 to June 2. After the opening defeat against Belarus (1:2), the team of coach Aleksandar Luković first won the matches against Bosnia and Herzegovina (5:0), and then, in the deciding match, their peers from Israel. Everything was decided already after the first half when Maksimović, Cvetković and Vukojević sealed the placement of the generation of players born in 2006 in the final summit of the best cadet selections in Europe.
