L’EQUIPE | PREDRAG RAJKOVIĆ, THE BEST GOALKEEPER IN LEAGUE 1

Our national team player, Predrag Rajković has received a great recognition. France football public has been delighted by great performances of the Serbian goalkeeper so much, that the eminent French daily L’Equipe has included him in the 11 ideal players of the so-far League 1 competition.

Until the season suspension, this guy from Negotin remained unbeaten at 12 matches, which has been managed only by Alisson (Liverpool FC), Thibaut Courtois (Real Madrid), David Soria (Getafe FC), Mike Maignan (Lille FC) and Steve Mandanda (Marseille). Even Keylor Navas of Paris Saint-Germain was left behind by the Serbian goalkeeper.

At 27 matches in the League 1, Rajković conceded only 18 goals, which makes him the best in France together with Navas, with only Alisson and Courtois better in top European leagues. This achievement of the 24-year old Serbian means even more if one knows that he does not perform with a top team, as do the ones of the mentioned three.
