A good match of Serbia in Vilnius and expected victory over Lithuania – 2:1 (0:0) on their way to the ultimate goal – qualification for the EURO 2020.

Serbia had a good start, had greater ball possession and mostly controlled events on the pitch. First half of the match ended 0:0, and already in the first minutes of the other half Serbia scored after a good action of Ljajić and realization of Aleksandar Mitrović. We did not have to wait long for another score, and again assistant was Ljajić and scorer Aleksandar Mitrović. That was 31 goal of the Fulham FC attacker for the nation team. Lithuania only managed to mitigate their defeat till the end of the match.

In the November fixtures for EURO 2020 Serbia will play Luxembourg and Ukraine, both matches to be played at “Rajko Mitić” stadium.
