Aleksandar Mitrović is getting closer to the best scorer title in the history of the national team. Fulham FC attacker scored twice in Vilnius and reached 31 goals on 54 of his matches for Serbia.

It is only a goal less than FK Crvena zvezda legend, Rajko Mitić, and six less than Milan Galić, Blagoje Marjanović and Savo Milošević. Record holder is a legendary FK Partizan centre forward player Stjepan Bobek, with seven goals more than his successor in black and white jersey. Aleksandar Mitrović is only 25!
