WOMEN “A” TEAM | HALFTIME BY THE BOOK AND A CONVINCING WIN IN THE TEST MATCH WITH SLOVENIA

It was a great game of our best women national team and a convincing win in the test match with Slovenia – 3:0 (3:0). The team chosen by the head coach Dragiša Zečević were especially in the mood for some brilliant game in the first half of the match when, after some actions and goals scored by the book, they gained a great advantage and practically decided the match after only 45 minutes of play. Already in the first minutes of the match we could see a great action, assistance of Jelena Čanković and a very sure realization of Jovana Damnjanović. It was 30th minute of the game when Tijana Filipović did all the work herself, managed to win the position and from about 16m hit the top corner of Slovenia’s goal. And when we tought that the team would go on a break with plus two goals, Jelena Čanković took a corner kick and Dejana Stefanović, after an excellent jump, scored a header for an unattainable 3:0 score. So, here is applause for the approach, for the game, for the creation and goals that mean great confidence before the Nations League matches. Head coach Zečević used the second half to make a lot of changes and showed confidence in the other players.
