WOMEN’S “A” | THE BIG HEART OF OUR GIRLS IN THE FIRST NATIONS LEAGUE MATCH, VICTORY AGAINST UKRAINE AFTER REVERSAL

The brave heart of our girls at the start of the Nations League and a great victory in Poland against Ukraine, after a lot of excitement and reversal – 2:1 (0:1).

There were two faces of our girls in this match, the first half which was not promising and the second half where the players led by coach Dragisa Zečević showed strong character, demonstrated quality, and showed that we have a generation that can achieve the historic success and give Serbia a place in the European Championship. Ukraine took the lead in the first half, and in the second half, Serbia made a comeback after two free-kicks and phenomenal reactions by Jelena Čanković and Nevena Damjanović.
