UEFA U15 DEVELOPMENT TOURNAMENT | WIN AGAINST GREECE FOR FINALS

In the FSS Sports Center in Stara Pazova, the UEFA Development Tournament for players up to 15 years of age was completed, in which, in addition to the host Serbia, the teams of Greece and the Republic of Ireland participated, as well as a special guest from South America, the Venezuelan national team. On the last day of the tournament, which for UEFA is a pilot project for testing some new ideas, especially Laws of the Game, Serbia defeated Greece 2:0 (1:0), and the Republic of Ireland was better than Venezuela (3:1).

Serbia won in the end, because let’s remember that the matches the “Eaglets” played with Venezuela and the Republic of Ireland ended in draw, and as the rules of the tournament dictate that penalty kicks be taken immediately, Serbia was less lucky in both cases. At UEFA tournaments of this type there is no table, and there is also a rule that the participating team must allow each player at least 90 minutes on the field of play. In general, a few nice days for all participants, days that remain in the memory.
