Serbia futsal national team has arrived in Amsterdam, where it will face challenges at the European Futsal Championship (January 19 – February 6) as from January 19. After a two-and-a-half-hour flight and 1,600 km, the Eagles accommodated at the Leonardo Royal Hotel, their base camp during the group stage. Players selected by the head-coach Dejan Maješ will open the UEFA Futsal EURO with a match against the current world champion, Portugal, to be played on Wednesday, January 19, at 17:30 hrs (RTS). Four days later, Pršić and his teammates will play against Ukraine, and on January 28 we are closing the group stage with the host, the Netherlands. It is no secret Serbia is in the “group of death” and it will have by far the strongest competition playing for two places that lead to the knock-out phase. All that, of course, does not worry our futsal players who respect all the opponents, and the past games and great results have shown that what they believe in most are their abilities. The last World Cup in Lithuania also showed with how much talent and self-confidence Serbia played.
