U17 | HUGE SUCCESS OF THE U17 NATIONAL TEAM, SERBIA QUALIFIED TO THE U17 EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP

The U17 National Team of Serbia (U17) achieved a great success in the qualifying tournament for the U17 European Championship and it qualified for the continental championship which is going to be organized in Israel (15.05-01.06.2022). In the deciding match, the team led by Head Coach Radovan Krivokapić, after a lot of dramatic moments, defeated Wales – 4:2 (0:1).

Previously, the U17 Team achieved a victory against Turkey (3:2) and played a draw against the host of the tournament, Slovenia (2:2). In the match against Wales, Serbia was two goals down, perhaps unexpectedly, and as according to the performance on the earlier matches, our U17 Team were big favorites.

Football still prepared a surprise, but the persistence, knowledge and great heart of the Serbian U-17 National Team brought a victory and a well-deserved qualification of the U17 National Team at the European Championship. With two goals scored, the heroes of the match were Bubanj and Milosevic, but absolutely all players, of course the Technical Staff led by coach Radovan Krivokapic, deserve congratulations for everything achieved in Slovenia and a success worthy of attention, qualification to the U17 European Championship.

In the second match of the day, Turkey defeated Slovenia (4:3), and the final standings are as follows:
