MEETING OF THE EXECUTIVE BOARD OF THE FA OF SERBIA

Several decisions have been adopted, we’d single out the most important ones. The members of the Executive Board unanimously adopted the Financial Plan of the Football Association of Serbia for 2022.

A new decision was unanimously made on the amounts of fees and membership fees determined by the FSS regulations. This decision significantly reduces the fees and membership fees paid by clubs and players, which shall significantly relieve the clubs of their financial obligations towards the registered football associations and the FSS.

In addition, a special decision was made on financial assistance for the regular activities of the territorial football associations in 2022. The FSS has significantly increased the amount of money it shall distribute to these associations in order to implement program activities that achieve the goals of the FSS from Article 5 of the FSS Statutes.

The members of the EB of the FSS unanimously accepted the proposal of the Technical Board and made a decision on awarding recognition for significant sports achievements in 2021. Dragan Stojković will be awarded the Golden Ball of Serbia as the best coach, Dušan Tadić as the best player and Jelena Čanković as the best female player, and the special award Golden Goal of the Year will go to the scorer of the historic goal in Lisbon, Aleksandar Mitrović.

The awards will be presented at a ceremony on Thursday, December 23 at the Hyatt Hotel, and on that occasion, an exhibition named The Road to Qatar will be organized as well as a New Year’s cocktail for guests.

Before the beginning of the meeting, Deputy President Nenad Bjeković congratulated the new members of the Executive Board, Dejan Filipović, Darko Ramovš and Aleksandar Mijailović, and presented them with appropriate gifts.
