Faced with Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, a sort of plague that put Serbia and the rest of the world in the state of general mobilization and concern for each and every human life, on an electronically held Emergency Committee meeting of yesterday, Football Association of Serbia decided to donate significant financial funds to humanitarian purposes. On this occasion, employees in the FA of Serbia system donates a part of their monthly salaries, and this campaign, started by the top leadership of the FA will also be supported by the Serbian national team players.
The FA of Serbia is using this opportunity to appeal all those living from and for football to help Serbia in its fight against the Coronavirus, all in accordance with their capabilities. Clubs, players, coaches, referees, sponsors, businessmen, football workers… and all those who want to help should show unity and solidarity in the moments when Serbia needs them most. All contributions can be paid into the specifically dedicated humanitarian account of the FA of Serbia (RSD) 160 – 406494-78, i.e. the specifically dedicated humanitarian account (foreign currency), according to the instructions on the photo.
This aid campaign will last until the state of emergency is on, and the Association will keep the public updated about the amount of the money raised, First raised amount of EUR 250,000 will be donated to the Clinic for Infectious and Tropical Diseases in Belgrade, for purchasing ventilators and medical equipment.
