Serbian national futsal team qualified for the UEFA Futsal EURO that will be staged next year in Slovenia, from 30th January till 10th February. After a win in the first leg play-off match with the Czech Republic in Chomutov (4:3), in fantastic atmosphere of the “Čair” Hall in Niš, players chosen by the head-coach Goran Ivančić made a draw worth of qualification among the best futsal teams of the Old Continent.

DRAW IN LJUBLJANA: OPPONENTS SLOVENIA AND ITALY

Our futsal team's path to Slovenia was not easy. In the group with current European champion – Spain, then Slovenia and Moldova, Perić and teammates achieved two wins – they were convincing against Poland (4:0), then also against Moldova (7:3). They managed to win the Czechs in the first leg play-off match in Chomutov (4:3), and then to confirm their quality in the second leg match. Being more experienced with the success achieved at the last European Championship in Belgrade, Perić, Kocić, Simić, Rajčević and their teammates will certainly send us some good news from Slovenia.

At the draw held in Ljubljana, Serbian futsal team is in the Group A. Opponents to Perić and the rest of the team will be the host Slovenia on 30th January and Italy on 1st February.

Russia, Kazakhstan and Poland are in the Group B, Romania, Portugal and Ukraine are in the Group C, and rivals in the Group D are Spain, France and Azerbaijan.

Quarter final matches will be played on 5th February, and group where Serbia is will be crossed with Group B. Two trams of each group will qualify to the knock-out phase.

Final match is on 10th February, in the Stožice Hall in Ljubljana.
