The Football “A” National Team of Serbia has won the National Team of Jamaica, in a friendly match in New York. The goal-scorers for our team were Dušan Tadić in 13th min and Aleksandar Kolarov in 22nd min. Our National Team won the objectively weaker opponent in a routine manner. It was the first match, out of three matches in total, scheduled during the American Tour.

After the National Anthems before the kick-off at the “Red Bull Arena” in New York, the players of both teams presented a banner where it was written Serbia needs help! Then, it was a minute of silence for all of the victims of floods that occurred recently in our country.

The best football players will remain in New York until 28.05. and they will move afterwards to Chicago for the second friendly match at the tour. The National Team of Panama will be the next opponent (31.05. at 19:00h local time, seven hours later according to the central European times)
