PROMOTION OF MR. DICK ADVOCAAT TO THE POSITION OF THE HEAD COACH OF THE “A” NATIONAL TEAM OF SERBIA

On Monday, 28.07.2014 in the premises of the sports center of the FA of Serbia, the Dutch coach Mr.Dick Advocaat has been promoted to the position of the Head Coach of the “A” National Team of Serbia, The contract with a duration of two years has been signed with Mr.Advocaat, until the end of the UEFA European Championship 2016 in France.

The President of the FA of Serbia, Mr.Tomislav Karadžić attended the press conference along with the experienced Dutch coach and the Dutch coach talked the first time to the public from his new position.

Serbia will play its first match with a new Head Coach on 07.09.2014, when our National Team will have a friendly match against France on the Stadium of FK “Partizan” in Belgrade. Under the leadership of Mr.Dick Advocaat, our National Team starts its qualifying campaign in the Group I of the of the qualifiers for the UEFA EURO 2016 in October – on 11.10. our National Team will play as a visitor against Armenia and on 14.10. our National Team will play against Albania as a home match. 

Mr.Dick Advocaat has an exceptional playing and coaching career.
