FUTSAL EURO 2016 - FINAL ROUND SERBIA - SLOVENIA 5:1 (1:1)

The Futsal National Team of Serbia has achieved the important victory at the start of the UEFA Futsal EURO 2016.

Tonight, the Futsal National Team of Serbia won the National Futsal Team of Slovenia by a score 5:1 (1:1) in the First match of the UEFA Futsal EURO 2016 – Group A.

The match was played in Arena with the attendance of 11000 spectators. The match referees were: Ondřej Černý (CZE) – and: Alessandro Malfer (ITA)

Goalscorers: Osredkar in 3rd min. for Slovenia and Janjić u 14th min, Kocić u 21st min.and 30th min, Rajčević in 27th min, Pršić in 34th min for Serbia.

Fouls Committed: First Half: Serbia 4 – Slovenia 6, Second Half: Serbia 3 – Slovenia 5

Penalty shots: Serbia 1 (1)

Yellow Cards: Osnedkar, Mordej,Čujec (Slovenia), Kocić (Serbia)

The Futsal National Team of Serbia plays the next match against Portugal on 06.02.2016. The second match of the day is Spain vs Hungary, it will also be played tonight.

Tomorrow, the second Match-day will include the following matches: Group C – Russia- Kazakhstan (18,30h); Group D – Italy – Azerbaijan (21,00h).

UEFA Futsal EURO involves 12 best contintental National Teams, divided in 4 groups – 3 teams each. The top two from each group will progress to the quarter-finals.

The Futsal National Team of Italy is the defending champion.

More than 70 dancers from 2 dancing studios took part in the 6-minutes programme in the Opening Ceremony of the 10th UEFA Futsal EURO.

The UEFA Futsal EURO 2016 has been simbolically opened in kick-off by Dejan Stankovic, the famous player of the National Team of Serbia and the promoter of the Championship.

The Futsal National Team of Serbia achieved an important victory at the start of the UEFA Futsal EURO 2016, that can bring to it the qualification for the Quarter-Finals.

The Futsal National Team of Slovenia played better than our team at the start of the match, as they played an excellent full-court pressing and brilliantly controlled the ball. The Visiting team took the early lead after the mistake of our defence.

As the match was progressing, the Futsal National Team of Serbia was taking over the control of the game more and more and it was creating the goal-scoring opportunities.

Since the visiting team played very aggressive, they commited 5 fouls early and the penalty shot was awarded to our team. The confident goal-scorer was Mladen Kocic and the home team equalised the score.

The Futsal National Team of Serbia played better in the second half and presented the high efficiency. It can be noted that the Serbian team completely controlled the game in the second half and secured the convincing and important victory.
