The Committee for Urgency Matters of the Football Association of Serbia was held Goran Đorović appointed as a Head Coach of the U-21 National Team

A meeting of the Committee for Urgency Matters of the Football Association of Serbia was held in the headquarters of the Football Association of Serbia. The most important decisions are in relation to the appointment of the new Head Coach of the U-21 National Team of Serbia, and also selecting the stadium where our “A” National Team will welcome the “A” National Team of Moldova on 02.09 in the qualifying match for the World Cup in Russia.

The new Head Coach of the U-21 National Team of Serbia is Goran Đorović (11.09.1971), former prominent player of the “A” National Team, participant in the World Cup France 1998 and European Championship in Belgium and Netherlands in 2000. He is close associate of Head Coach Slavoljub Muslin on our way to Russia and he will now become the Head Coach of U-21 National Team – Generation of players – 1996, in their qualifying group for the European Championship in Italy. The U-21 National Team is in the group with Austria, Russia, Armenia, FYR Macedonia and Gibraltar.

 The Committee for Urgency Mattersof Serbia has also made a decision to replace the venue for the qualifying match against Moldova, and that match will be played on the Stadium of FK “Partizan”  Namely, it was originally planned to host Moldova at the stadium “Rajko Mitic”, but due to the necessity of replacing the grass on the mentioned stadium, the match will be played on the Stadium of FK “Partizan” with a kick-off time: 18.00h
