THE FA OF NORWAY AND THE FA OF SERBIA | EDUCATION FOR WOMEN COACHES

A four-day course for women coaches was opened today at the Sports Center of the Football Association of Serbia, with the goal of increasing the number of women in coaching as well as motivating a larger number of girls to play football. The training for 24 participants from all over Serbia is financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway.

Onar Nemonen, Advisor for International Social Responsibility of the Football Association of Norway, opened the course with a gratitude of the Football Association of Serbia for the flawless organization and the number of participants. The ladies, participants in the course, had a special honor, as the Assistant Coach of the Serbian national football team, Mr. Kachushito Kinoshi joined them on the beginning of the course.

During the last two days of education process, two football festivals will be organized in Stara Pazova, which will gather over 200 girls from Vojvodina and Belgrade. With this education, the Football Association of Serbia continued its contribution to women’s football highlighted through the “Football is for Girls” campaign, as well as the projects UEFA Disney Players and free football schools with the Institute for Female Sports.
