FA OF SERBIA PRESENTED THE “FOOTBALL IS FOR GIRLS” CAMPAIGN WITHIN UEFA GRASSROOTS WEEK AT THE 10TH INTERNATIONAL SPORTS FAIR

Football Association of Serbia presented today the “Football is for Girls” campaign within UEFA Grassroots Week at the 10^th International Sports Fair, held at Ada Ciganlija from 24^th to 26^th September.

On that occasion, a tournament of developing teams of women football clubs Rad, Crvena zvezda, Heroji i Zemun was staged. Minister of Youth and Sports, Mr Vanja Udovičić, together with FA of Serbia Youth Categories Director, Mr Nikola Lazetić and Youth Categories Coordinator, Mr Igor Matić, greeted the tournament participants and asked them to be diligent not only when they practice, but also in school.

Presentation of the Playmakers program for girls and the “I want. I will. I can.” campaign, which promoted football as a sort of recreation for women gathered visitors and guests of the FA of Serbia, who showed their interest and held a good discussion on the topic of opportunities and challenges children in football are faced with.
