EURO 2024 | APPLAUSE AND CHEERS FOR THE EAGLES AT THE WELCOME IN AUGSBURG
During the 2024 UEFA EURO in Germany base camp of the Eagles will be in Augsburg, at the Maximilian’s hotel, and it was immediately obvious that Tadić and his teammates will be comfortable in this university town 70 kilometers away from the Bavarian capital Munich. Carrying symbols of Serbia, about one hundred fans cheered and clapped when they welcomed the Serbian team players, but also those who left a great mark in football – head coach Dragan Stojković, President Dragan Džajić, A team director Stevan Stojanović and others.
They cheered Serbia and the team that would have strong support during the EURO matches. Serbia have been waiting for this for 24 years, to feel the adrenalin of the greatest continental competition and for everything to stop in homeland and diaspora when the Eagles enter the pitch. Serbia’s first training session in Germany is on Wednesday, 12th June, before that the players will be available to the media.
