"EAGLES" LANDED IN RUSSIA

The Serbian national football team arrived in Russia where they will play Costa Rica, Switzerland and Brazil on 17th, 22nd and 27th June respectively. “Eagles” were seen off from “Nikola Tesla” airport with a Serbian song “Pukni zoro” and a cake cut by the team’s captain Aleksandar Kolarov and head-coach Mladen Krstajić.

 

 

After pleasant two hours flight the “Eagles” landed in Kaliningrad and then further to their base camp while in Russia, Svetlogorsk. Safety and security measures set by the host were very noticeable, but also kindness of people who took part in the tournament’s organisation.

 

 

Serbian delegation passed quickly all passport formalities and left for the hotel, and all the equipment was also delivered, after additional security checks. The first training session is planned to be at 18:00 on a nearby training pitch in Svetlogorsk.

 

 

 

Serbia will play its first match with Costa Rica in the city of Samara on 17th June (14:00 CET).
