ANDREJA MILUTINOVIĆ FITNESS AND REHABILITATION COORDINATOR OF THE FA OF SERBIA NATIONAL TEAM AND OTHER NATIONAL SELECTIONS

New member of the Football Association of Serbia is Professor Andreja Milutinović, one of the most recognized European experts in the field of preparation and recovery of athletes. The contract is signed for the period of four years and he will perform duties of the fitness and rehabilitation coordinator of the Serbian “A” national team, but also of other national selectionsof the FA of Serbia.
Professor Milutinović was born on 15th August 1979 in the town of Kragujevac. He graduated from the Faculty of Sport and Physical Education, University of Belgrade in 2003, completing master course of sport and physical education, and also obtaining Medical Secondary School physiotherapist diploma. In the career that has lasted for more than two decades, he has reached the peak in his individual work with many football aces, among which are current Serbian national team players Aleksandar Kolarov, Dušan Tadić and Aleksandar Mitrović. Furthermore, there are many other famous names including Gianluigi Buffon, Mohamed Salah and Luka Modrić.

In addition to his individual works, he also had club engagements, and one to emphasize is certainly the period he spent in one of the world’s most famous clubs, multiple champion of Italy
and European champion, FC Internazionale Milano. He also worked with FC Metalist Kharkiv, and was a member of technical staff of the Russia and Ukraine national teams. A few years ago
he was also engaged in the Serbian national U-21 team.
– Years of serious and successful work are a proof of quality of professor Milutinović, who will be engaged in a completely new role in our system. After a couple of discussions president Slaviša Kokeza and I had with him, an agreement was reached to the mutual satisfaction. We put great trust in his skills, closely followed by great responsibility, of course. The contract was signed for a longer period of time during which we expect of Milutinović to establish a specific system of work, from the youngest to the A team, with one goal: to put the FA of Serbia sports sector on even higher level – stated Vladimir Matijašević, sports director of the FA of Serbia.
