A FESTIVE ATMOSPHERE AT “ČIKA DAČA” STADIUM | MORE THAN 2000 CLUBS RECEIVED THE DONATION FROM FSS, VALUABLE EQUIPMENT TO CLUBS ON THE TERRITORY OF THE KRAGUJEVAC FA

The city of football, the city of many aces, former and current national team players and an important activity, an action in which so far more than 2000 clubs have received a valuable donation from the Football Association of Serbia. The equipment arrived in Kragujevac today, there was a ceremony at “Čika Dača” stadium where representatives of 45 clubs received the FSS donation in the presence of the leaders of the FSS and Regional Western Serbia FA. FSS Vice-President Branislav Nedimović, General Secretary Jovan Šurbatović, first man of Regional Western Serbia FA Nebojša Živanović, president of GFS Kragujevac Slavko Perović … celebrated an important day for clubs from the territory of the city of Kragujevac.

The campaign is good, and I can promise that it will not only be at this level, we will expand its scope. Our goal is to reach every village, every hamlet where football is played and help as much as possible. Now this refers to sports equipment, balls, jerseys…and we are planning that it also includes assistance with infrastructure. We want to take this campaign a step further. Simply put, as long as football is played in small communities, football will live. Zvezda and Partizan and Radnički are also important…but as long as it is played in small communities, it means that we are alive, that football is alive. I know that the people of Kragujevac are also interested in the new stadium. The state is behind that project, we expect to start the implementation very soon. All together with the National Stadium. Believe me, after the realization of such projects, nothing will be the same. It is about projects, stadiums that will be the pride of every citizen of Serbia, cities where stadiums are springing up. Meanwhile, I would ask the people from Radnički for a little patience, that the club plays its matches somewhere near Kragujevac, I hope with a lot of success as a member of the Super League. And as for the national team and our path to the European Championship, for which we have been waiting for more than two decades… Seven points from three games promise a good epilogue and the achievement of the goal, which is participation in the biggest continental competition. Of course, you have to look before you leap, but we have the quality that will make the nation’s wishes come true. It will be a big deal if, after 24 years, we participate in two biggest competitions, the World and European Championships consecutively. So, let’s go step by step, we know what we want, we know how much we can do. We have the energy, ideas and plans, the quality to fulfill and achieve many things – said Branislav Nedimović, vice president of FSS.
