H.E. MR. NEBOJŠA RODIĆ, THE AMBASSADOR OF THE REPUBLIC OF SERBIA IN AUSTRIA ORGANIZED A RECEPTION FOR THE DELEGATION OF THE FS OF SERBIA

The National Team of Serbia plays on Friday, 16.06. the international friendly match against the National Team of Jordan, and immediately after the arrival of our National Team in Vienna, the delegation of the Serbian Football Federation was hosted by H.E. Mr. Nebojša Rodić, the Ambassador of THE Republic of Serbia in Austria. The members of the official Delegation of the FA of Serbia were Vice-President Branislav Nedimović, General Secretary Jovan Šurbatović, Nenad Bjeković, Head Coach Dragan Stojković with his technical staff, The Director of the A national team Stevan Stojanović and the national team members, Team Captain Dušan Tadić and Filip Kostić.

– I don’t remember that there was this much interest in a football match in Vienna before. To be honest, I have not experienced Austrians as football-oriented people, but this is amazing. During my term, I did not have this many calls in terms of whether we can help with tickets and meet the needs of everyone who wants to be at the stadium on Friday. That makes me very happy, and it obliges the guys who wear the Serbian jersey to be at their recognizable level again and to make our fans happy with a victory against Jordan. Let it be a motivation for the game against Bulgaria, where we expect three points and the continuation of the successful path to the European Championship in Germany. I feel very comfortable in the role of host, thank you from the bottom of my heart to Vice-President Nedimović, Head Coach Stojković, Dušan, Filip and everyone who took half an hour of their precious time today and were our guests. This is not only a visit to us who work at the Embassy of the Republic of Serbia in Vienna, but also to all Serbs who live in Austria and love their national team – said H.E.
