WOMEN’S U17 QUALIFICATIONS | CADETS’ SUCCESS IN A TIE VS. UKRAINE, A STEP TOWARDS THE ELITE ROUND

Phenomenal performance of women’s U17 Serbia National Team in the first tie of the first qualifying round for the European Championship and the most remarkable victory against Ukraine – 4:2 (1:0).

In a match that was full of beautiful action and goals, Serbia came to the advantage at the right time with goal of Anastasija Ćirić in the last moments of the first half of the game. The both sides played ambitiously, with a string of goals. The Ukrainians equaling goal brought them hope that lasted only a minute. Milica Andrić brought new joy to our girls, and then Mina Čavić and again Milica Andrić dispelled any doubts about the final outcome.

On Wednesday, 23 October, Serbia will play with Georgia. The match will be played at the FK Zemun stadium at 14:00h.
