U17 NATIONAL TEAM WON CROATS ON ITS PATH TO ELITE ROUND FOR THE EUROPEAN CHAMPIONSHIP

The U17 national team of Serbia defeated the Croatian team in the decisive match of the 3rd round of the first round of qualifications by 1: 0 (0: 0) and qualified for the final, elite round of qualifications for the European Championship.

In the duel of two strong rivals, a great fight was seen, many duels, good moves on both sides. Croatia entered the match more aggressively, had more ball possession in the first half, and in some situations was more dangerous. Then followed a completely different story. The coach Radovan Krivokapić’s team looked far more determined, brave, accepted a higher risk and such an approach quickly proved to be very good. It was in the 63rd minute, when the winner was practically decided, but also the participant in the next round of qualifications, because in our group, Bulgaria was a winner with three victories.

The goal of the decision, therefore, was scored by Bubanj who later entered the game. Previously, Milošević did a great job, entering the Croatian penalty area and “shuffling” several visiting players, then took a shot; goalkeeper Klarin somehow managed to defend and bounce the ball that Bubanj ran on and scored.
