U17 EURO – POLAND QUALIFIED FOR THE SEMI-FINAL MATCH – SERBIA SHOWED THAT IS HAS A BRIGHT FUTURE

The U17 National Team of Serbia failed to qualify for the semi-finals of the European Championship that is organized in Hungary. Our Team was defeated by their peers from Poland – 2:3 (0:1), after a goal scored close to the end of the match, from a free kick.

Until then, Serbia has shown everything that is necessary for a Team that definitely has a bright future. Quality, character, strength, willingness were demonstrated by players led by Aleksandar Luković. Poland led twice, Serbia came back into the game twice, at one point it was close for a complete reversal, but the luck decided in the end, we would say.

We regret for not achieving the result that would have taken Serbia to the FIFA U17 World Cup for the first time in history, but after everything that was shown, this generation of our players deserves great praise for everything that was shown at the U17 European Championship in Hungary.
