U-19 | FANTASTIC EDITION AND GREAT VICTORY OF THE U-19 TEAM AGAINST THE NETHERLANDS ON THE ROAD TO THE EUROPEAN U-19 CHAMPIONSHIP IN SLOVAKIA

After the great games of the U-17 team at the European Championship in Israel, there are another good news when it comes to the success of youth teams of Serbia. Our U-19 team has fantastically started the second, final round of qualifications for the European U-19 Championship in Slovakia (18th June – 1st July). The team of the head-coach Aleksandar Jović celebrated in the first round of the tournament in the Netherlands, against the host team – 2:1 (1:1). Serbia took the lead with a goal of Marko Lazetić, but the Dutch managed to change the game with a penalty before the end of the first half. However, in the second half, “the Eaglets” demonstrated their strength being the favourites on the field so to speak and showed that Serbian football has a great future. Petar Ratkov’s goal brought justice and a great win to our boys. In the second match of the group, Ukraine won Norway (3:2). Serbia will play the next match on 4th June with Ukraine, and three days later the opponent is Norway.
