THE FA OF SERBIA EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING HELD EARLIER TODAY

The FA of Serbia Executive Committee held its meeting in the FAS Sports Centre in Stara Pazova, chaired by the Deputy President Nenad Bjeković.

At today’s meeting, a decision was made on the deadlines for conducting elections at all levels in the FA of Serbia. The elections will last from 1st August to 31st October, with certain electoral processes to begin already on 18th July.

Executive Committee introduced measures for the Statues implementation in the FAS Football Referees Organization and the FA of the Eastern Serbia Region. Temporary governing bodies have been formed in these institutions, and their primary goal will be to align the regulations and conduct the elections.

Head of the temporary body of the Referees Organization will be former referee Dejan Delević, and members will be Branko Pavlović (FA of Vojvodina), Marko Popović (FA of Belgrade), Dejan Dimitrijević (FA of the Western Serbia Region) and Miloš Gagić (FA of the Eastern Serbia Region). Zoran Ignjatović will be the president of the temporary governing body for the FA of Eastern Serbia Region, Vladan Gašić will be the vice-president, and members will be Miloš Mitrović, Ivan Nikolić and Hadži-Ivan Đorđević. A new Competition Committee was also appointed, to be chaired by Igor Uljarević (president of the FA of Kosovo and Metohija) in the role of the Committee’s president, while the members will be Rade Popović, Miroslav Stojanović, Miodrag Cvijić and Marko Osmajlić.

The FA of Serbia has also provided financial assistance to the FA of Kosovo and Metohija, for education of ten most promising coaches from that territory.
