THE FA OF SERBIA AND THE FA OF NORWAY CONTINUED THE EDUCATION OF WOMEN COACHES IN SERBIA

In the Sports Center of the Football Association of Serbia, two training courses for female coaches were held with the aim of increasing the number of women in the coaching work as well as motivating more girls to play football.

The education for 24 participants from all over Serbia is financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Norway, based on the Agreement on cooperation between the Football Associations of Serbia and Norway.

It was organized a football festival for new students on the last day of education, an event that gathered 100 girls and boys with whom the work of future educators of Grassroots was presented. Likewise, after a two-year break due to the pandemic situation, the education was continued by girls who attended the initial course in 2019, when the program itself began. A special honor this year was the fact that one of the educators was Mr.Jarl Torske, former Assistant Coach of the Men’s and Women’s National A Team of Norway.

The Education for ladies who want to work in football, especially with girls, will continue in 2023.
