Last weekend did not start good for our national team players, above all Filip Kostić, a great Eintracht Frankfurt attacker. In the match with Hertha Berlin, Filip had to leave the game in the 15th min. already, after a reckless start of a Berlin team player. The following days will show if the head-coach Ljubiša Tumbaković can count on Kostić in the match with Norway, in Oslo on 8th October. First competing minutes in the new Serie A season were booked by Sergej Milinković-Savić against Cagliari in Sardinia (0:2) and Aleksandar Kolarov, in his debut match for Inter against Fiorentina (4:3). Nikola Milenković was a regular in the violet jersey, while Dušan Vlahović entered the game in the continuation of the match. Among starters was also Nemanja Maksimović in the guest match of Getafe to Alaves. As guests, Werder Bremen were better than Schalke 04 with Miloš Veljković being in the starting 11, and Luka Jović also could be pleased with a good performance, with coach Zinedine Zidane putting his trust in him in a tandem with Benzema, and in decisive moments of the match, our national team player made Real had a player more on the pitch (a FC Betis defender was sent off), after a foul over him, in front of Betis penalty area. A player more also meant a score more for the Madrid team, for 3 important points (3:2). Finally, kudos to Nemanja Radonjić, who entered the game from the substitution bench and, after a great assistance, brought a point to Marseille in the match with Metz (1:1). It is also worth to mention our coaches in the Championship; Serbian language is spoken on the top of the score table. Veljko Paunović’s Redding and Vladimir Ivić’s Watford were both successful. Coach Vladan Milojević can be pleased with his results with Al Ahli FC that managed to qualify to the Asian Champions League quarterfinals.

Filip Đuričić started the Sunday events with a great score for Sassuolo, in a routine victory over a Serie A rookie, Spezia. Đorđe Despotović was noticed in a good game and a score for Rubin. In Bundesliga, Hoffenheim unexpectedly demolished Bayern (4:1), and Mijat Gaćinović, entering the match in the second half, was among those who contributed to this surprise. The same goes for Nikola Maksimović who was a substitution for Manolas in Napoli. Napoli FC were better than Genoa FC (6:0). In the French championship, Predrag Rajković guarded the Reims goal net in the match against PSG, and the same goes for Marko Dmitrović in Primera, in the match against Athletic Bilbao. Nemanja Gudelj had a quite good performance and a victory in Spanish championship, although receiving a yellow card in the match with FC Cadiz (3:1). In League 1, Stefan Mitrović had a lot on his plate with FC Monaco attackers (FC Strasbourg lost 3:2), and Mihailo Ristić contributed in a draw (2:2) in the away match of Monpellier with Dijon.
