QATAR 2022 | SERBIA LOST TO SWITZERLAND AND ENDED PARTICIPATION IN THE WORLD CUP

In the third match of the group stage of the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar, Serbia lost to Switzerland – 2:3 (2:2). The Eagles needed a win in this match, and at one point we had a positive result, but Switzerland managed to win. Finally, congratulations to the players for everything accomplished, because many of them performed despite of the fact they were neither healthy nor ready one hundred percent. If the situation with the health report had been the same as during the World Cup preliminaries, there is no doubt that everything would have been much better, but congratulations for their desire, will, effort and demonstrated motivation at the World Cup.

As from March 2023, Serbia National Team is entering qualifiers for the European Championship, the competition our national team has not taken part in since 2000, when the competition was staged in Belgium and The Netherlands.
