QATAR 2022 |AL-ARABI LEADERS VISIT PIXIE AND EAGLES

22.11.2022.

A sudden but very pleasant visit during one of the last training sessions of our national team before the match against Brazil. The delegation of Al-Arabi, the club whose pitches the Eagles use during the World Cup, greeted Dragan Stojković and his team, and presented appropriate gifts to the members of our management, Nenad Bjeković, Jovan Šurbatović and Stevan Stojanović.

“I have to express my satisfaction that the Serbian national team chose this particular training camp. We will strive to be good hosts and that your footballers have the best working conditions during their stay in Qatar. We all sincerely hope that you stay as long as possible at the World Cup. It’s hard for me to decide who I’m going to support on Thursday night because the Brazilians also use our pitches and I like them a lot too. I would like both national teams to qualify for the knockout phase of the championship” – Al-Arabia President Tamim Al-Tami said for the FSS website and revealed who his favorites are in the Serbian national team:

“Since Juventus is my favorite club from the European continent, my favorites are Filip Kostić and Dušan Vlahović. It would be a great honor for me if you allow me to take a picture with them.”

Of course, Tamim Al-Tani’s wish was soon fulfilled, and in addition to Vlahović and Kostić, the respected hosts were greeted by the entire Serbian national team led by Coach Dragan Stojković. In addition to the president of Al-Arabi, the delegation of the most popular Qatari club consisted of Vice-president Muhammad Al-Kawari and general manager Ahmad Hassan.

“We feel really comfortable in the last few days, the attention we were showered with in Bahrain, continued to an even greater extent in Doha.” You can feel the hospitality of our hosts at every step, they try to be at our service and make our stay at the World Cup as interesting as possible” – said FSS Deputy President Nenad Bjeković, who presented gifts to the leaders of Al-Arabi and thanked them for their hospitality and support.
