INSTRUCTIONS REGARDING RESTART OF TRAINING PROCESS

Restart of training process (hereinafter: a training) of top and other athletes in the Republic of Serbia system will start in the open, i.e. in open sports facilities as of 28th April 2020.

Trainings of all the Republic of Serbia top and other athletes (hereinafter: athletes) within the sports system of the Republic of Serbia, who directly or indirectly fall under jurisdiction of the relevant national sports associations in the Republic of Serbia may start if all the subjects (athletes, coaches, sports club authorized persons, sports facility authorized persons) are enabled to follow all the conditions and measures established by these instructions.

Upon their arrival, departure and during a training, athletes comply with the following measures:

  • on arrival/departure from a training, an athlete must wear a protective mask and gloves;
  • when arriving/departing from a training, an athlete shall be alone or accompanied by one more person, at the most;
  • when arriving/departing from a training, an athlete is obliged to comply with all social distancing measures as a prevention measure in the Republic of Serbia due to prevention of the COVID-19 spread;
  • use of common or auxiliary areas, such as dressing rooms, showers, etc. is possible only if there is possibility to disinfect these areas after every use;
  • athletes must use their own personal hygiene products (soaps, towels, etc.);
  • when storing their personal things, an athlete must put them in a separate bag that will be closed;
  • during a training, an athlete can use only their own water/sports drink/protein drink bottle and must not share it with anyone (the same refers to any food during a training);
  • upon arrival and after a training, athletes are obliged to wash their hands with soap and warm water for at least 20 seconds;
  • when not at a training, an athlete is obliged to comply with all social distancing measures as a prevention measure in the Republic of Serbia due to prevention of the COVID-19 spread.

 

Training organizers, in cooperation with responsible persons and management of open sports facilities must provide the following conditions, i.e. must take following measures:

  • when arriving to a training, a training organizer is obliged to collect information from every athlete, coach, technical and other staff/personnel included in the training realization about some of the symptoms that can indicate COVID-19 disease infection (body temperature, cough, exhaustion, difficult breathing, etc.), and if any of the stated is confirmed, the relevant athlete will not be allowed in the facility, i.e. the athlete will be removed from the training and directed to the relevant medical authority;
  • on arrival to a training, body temperature of all athletes, coaches, technical and other staff/personnel included in the training realization will be measured – any athlete, coach, technical and other staff/personnel with a higher body temperature will be removed from the training and directed to the relevant medical authority;
  • a training organizer will keep records of the gathered information stated above (first and second indent of this article);
  • if any athlete, coach, technical and other staff/personnel show any of the symptoms indicating COVID-19 disease, the training will be immediately terminated, the person with symptoms will be directed to the relevant medical authority, while all the others will be subject to COVID-19 test and remain isolated until they receive their test results;
  • a training organizer has to provide a separate trash bin where all used plastic and other packaging will be thrown in, as well as paper tissues – paper towels which content will be put in a separate closed plastic bag after the training, and then further disposed as a municipal waste;
  • hands, clothes and shoes disinfectants for all athletes must be placed in the sports facility where the training is taking place or in the facility that is used during the training;
  • before and after a training, a training organizer is obliged to disinfect stationary sporting equipment used during the training that was in the open;
  • before and after each training, all balls, and other sports articles used during the training must be disinfected with a disinfectant of at least 70% alcohol;
  • a training organizer is obliged to keep records on every training session, stating names of all the persons present, and all due to a subsequent potential epidemiological contact tracing;
  • in cooperation with open sports facility managements, training organizers are obliged to schedule an interval of at least 30 minutes between two trainings;
  • all closed areas used by athletes, coaches, technical and other staff/personnel must be regularly and naturally aired, with windows and doors open, and if weather conditions allow, windows can be open all the time in order to provide natural ventilation. Central air conditioning is not allowed.

A training is organized in an open sports facility, i.e. in an open area with conditions for a training to be conducted, under conditions and, in addition to the measures stated in the article 3, in a way to comply with the following measures:

  • athletes must be physically distanced from each other, i.e. maintain physical distance of at least 2 m, and for each athlete there must be a space of at least 10 m2;
  • there may be maximum of 10 persons present a training at a time, including the coach, while the number of technical and other staff must be at absolute minimum, so that total number of persons present in an open sports facility, in a part where a training is conducted (e.g. a football pitch) must not exceed 12 at any time.

Relevant national sports associations, as well as all sports organizations (clubs) that fall under direct or indirect jurisdiction of those associations, are recommended to organize, whenever possible, controlled (quarantined) training preparations of their athletes, and in that case they are oblige to take the following measures:

  • all the athletes, coaches and other persons included in a controlled (quarantined) training preparation must be tested for COVID-19 (in any possible way) before arrival to the training preparation venue and start of the training sessions;
  • all the athletes, coaches and other persons included in a controlled (quarantined) training preparation may not leave, under any circumstances, the venue used for the controlled (quarantined) training preparation, and for the whole duration of that preparatory period;
  • all the athletes, coaches and other persons included in a controlled (quarantined) training preparation, as well as training organizers, must comply with all the measures established by these Instructions, and for the whole duration of that preparatory period;
  • before arrival of sports teams, facilities (accommodation and training ones) must be disinfected in accordance with the disinfection standards applied in order to prevent COVID-19 presence;
  • all persons working in facilities used by sports teams (receptionists, waiters, chefs, cleaners, etc.) must wear protective masks and gloves the whole time and comply with all other prevention measures established in the Republic of Serbia in order to prevent COVID-19 spread.
