HEAD COACH OF THE NATIONAL TEAM OF SERBIA DRAGAN STOJKOVIĆ WINNER OF THE GREATEST RECOGNITION OF THE CITY OF NIŠ, "11TH JANUARY" AWARD

It is not a secret, the most beautiful and sweetest recognition is the one you receive it from the city where you were born, the city that formed you and launched you into the stars.

Today, the City of Nis, awarded Dragan Stojković, the Head Coach of the National Team of Serbia with a greatest recognition of the city. “11th January” – it marks the day in Nis when the city was liberated from the Turks in 1878.

According to the tradition, at the ceremony session of the City Assembly, the highest city recognition, the award “11th January” is presented and one of this year’s laureates is Dragan Stojković. Attendees were able to watch short films about the winners, their work and contribution to the City. The Head Coach of the National Team of Serbia was not able to attend the award ceremony, but he thanked for the great recognition via a video link.

“I have been receiving various recognitions lately, congratulations, awards, but to be completely honest and open, for me, as I often point out, the special value are those awards that come from my city, the city where I was born, where I grew up and which I love immensely, “said the Head Coach of the National Team of Serbia.
