HEAD-COACH DRAGAN STOJKOVIĆ SELECTS PLAYERS FOR UPCOMING WORLD CUP QUALIFIERS WITH REPUBLIC OF IRELAND, PORTUGAL AND AZERBAIJAN

Serbia head-coach Dragan Stojković has named players for the starting matches in the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. Serbia will meet Republic of Ireland in Belgrade on 24th March, then play Portugal three days later, and finally, on 30th March “the Eagles” will meet the team of Azerbaijan in Baku.

“After a thorough and detailed analyses I performed with my associates, and all according to the criteria important and relevant to us, I have decided to summon these players for the upcoming three qualifiers for the World Cup in Qatar in 2022. There are 30 names on the list, and it makes it a provisional one. I am not giving up on any of the players, but there is a larger group of players who could potentially be on the team, we are observing them, and the door is open to all, with a note that Matija Nastasić and Mijat Gaćinović are recuperating from their injuries” – stated head-coach, Dragan Stojković.
