FOOTBALL SERBIA UNITED: NEW MANDATE TO SLAVIŠA KOKEZA

Assembly of the Football Association of Serbia unanimously re-elected Slaviša Kokeza as the FA of Serbia President for the period 2019-2023.

 

Slaviša Kokeza was elected for the first time as the FA President in 2016, and after 1030 days got the trust of football Serbia to continue the work that, according to the most important factors in the Serbian football, he has performed well. One of the fulfilled promises of the President Slaviša Kokeza stated during the previous inauguration was return of the Serbian national team football on the stage of the best teams in the world and qualification to the World Cup in Russia. A new goal in this term is the Serbian team qualification to EURO 2020, the competition Serbia has been waiting for the last 20 years.

In the programme he presented to the FA of Serbia Assembly delegates, the President pointed out construction of the national stadium, as well as the FA of Serbia administration building, and also improvement of infrastructure all over Serbia.

 

Distinguished guests present at the first FA of Serbia Assembly for the mandate period 2019 – 2023 were Zoran Laković, former general secretary of the FA of Serbia, and currently UEFA National Associations Director; Dejan Savićević, member of the FIFA Counsel and Montenegro FA President; Oliver Jung, FIFA Development Programmes Manager; Božidar Maljković, President of the Serbian Olympic Committee, and many others.

 

In other electoral matter, new FA of Serbia Executive Committee members were elected, as well as members of various FA of Serbia committees.
