FIFA RANKINGS | A BIG MOVE UP AND THE BEST SCORE OF THE EAGLES, STARTING THE YEAR AS THE 30, ENDING IT AS 23.

“The Eagles” are flying to Qatar, but they are also flying on the FIFA ranking list. In the last one, announced after the final matches of the national teams in this year, they advanced by two more places and are currently 23. in the world.

Mostly because of the triumph in Portugal (1:2), a worthy, direct qualification to the 2022 World Cup, Serbia advanced from its 25. place, where it was after the October matches, overtook Poland, used relegation of Chile, and took the best position so far in 2021.

It is worth recalling that the team led by Dragan Stojković started the year in the 30. place, where they had finished the previous one, after an attempt to reach the European Championship managed by the coach Ljubiša Tumbaković.
