EURO U-17 | NETHERLANDS REACH FINALS WITH PENALTY ROULETTE, KRIVOKAPIĆ’S TEAM A TRUE TREASURE AND THE FUTURE OF SERBIA

Serbia National U-17 Team was defeated by the Netherlands after penalty kicks in the UEFA European U-17 Championship semifinal match in Israel – 2:2 (0:0), 3:5. “The Eaglets” played a fantastic game, had far more chances than the current European Champion (two bars hit in the first half), started again from the bottom, took the lead, but, in the end, fate wanted the finalist to be decided by the penalty kicks. The Netherlands had more luck on the penalty roulette, but it will remain that our U-17 boys definitely showed with their game and behaviour they were worthy heirs of Tadić and friends. In a few years, there will be a Simić, Serafimović, Milošević, Stanković, Šljivić in the Serbian A team, and other members of the team with great career ahead of them. Well done, boys and thank you for everything you showed in Israel, that’s the way to play for Serbia!
