In the match of the second round of qualifications for the FIFA World Cup in Qatar, the best national teams of Serbia and Portugal ended their tie in a draw – 2: 2 (0: 2). The guest team dominated the first half, and the Serbian team the second part of the game when the National Coach Dragan Stojković’s team could reach a complete upheaval.
The highlight of the match was the goal of Aleksandar Mitrović, for whom it was the 39th goal in a jersey with the national coat of arms. The Fulham and Serbia striker thus became the absolute record holder in the number of goals scored in the best national team.
