A VICTORY FOR A NEW START | U-21 TEAM BETTER THAN POLAND

Serbia U-21 National Team (U-21) won Poland – 1:0 (1:0) in the finish of European U-21 Championship qualifications. Serbia is with no chances to be at the final tournament of the European continent, so the head-coach, Ilija Stolica, had already rejuvenated the team and selected a great number of players born in 2000 and younger, the ones eligible to play in the next qualification cycle. The only goal at the match played in Gornji Milanovac was scored by Veljko Nikolić (11. minute) after a wrong reaction of a Polish defender.
