The Serbian younger cadets national U16 team, which, as of this fall, plays in the first qualifying round for the European Championship, defeated Montenegro by 2:0 (1:0), and thus, after winning the semi-finals against Bulgaria (3:0), deservedly won the seventh „Miljan Miljanić“ memorial tournament. Son of the legendary coach Mr. Miloš Miljanić, director of FSS Center for Education of football coaches, presented the trophy.

Aleksandar Stanković, the scorer of two goals in the final, son of the legendary ace of Serbian football Dejan Stanković, was declared the best player of the tournament. The awards also went to the best scorer Jovan Milošević, and the goalkeeper Stefan Marinković. All recognitions, therefore, went to those selected by the Head-Coach Radovan Krivokapić.

Before the start of the match, all those present at the match paid tribute with a minute of silence, to the late coach Milan Kosanović, a man who has been in the system of the Football Association of Serbia for a long time, and it will remain recorded that this experienced expert was assistant to the coach Veljko Paunović at the U20 World Cup in New Zealand, where Serbia won the title of the best U20 national team of the planet.
