A Serbian football team played a draw (1-1) against the team of Croatia in the eighth round of the Group A qualification for the World Cup in 2014 in Brazil.

Scorer of the only goal for the "Eagles" was Aleksandar Mitrovic in the 66th minute after Mario Mandzukic put the Croatian selection of lead in 53 minutes.

The Croatians are currently second with seventeen points from eight matches, while Serbia has eight points from eight matches and no chances of qualifying for the World Cup.

The first match teams played in Zagreb, when Croatia won by 2:0.

The next game that the Serbian national team will play will be against Wales in Cardiff.
