UEFA Nations League: Two wins and two Rémis

Top Serbian team wishes to make a step further in the UEFA Nations League, placement in league B, and after four matches, the „Eagles“ are first-placed in Group 4 of C League with two wins and two ties.


In the September duels, the players chosen by Coach Mladen Krstajic celebrated in Vilnius against Lithuania through the score of Dusan Tadic, and then, the match with Romania in a nice ambience of the Partizan stadium ended in a tie. Serbia was in the lead twice by goals of Aleksandar Mitrović, but, in the end, the guest team managed to win a worthy point.


In the October cycle the Serbia was the guest team twice, first in Podgorica vs. Montenegro. It was a historical match of two teams who used to play for one, common country (Serbia & Montenegro), and it ended up in a win of Serbia.

Then followed the trip to Bucharest and new rémi with Romania before approximately 50,000 spectators at the National Stadium.

After the 4 matches Serbia is first-places in our group and denouement in November,

Serbia shall now be the host, first to Montenegro and then the Lithuanian team.
